I had such a great Mother's Day this past Sunday! As soon as I woke up at 6:45am, my little boys Jaxon, ran into my room and said, "Happy Mother's Day!" It melted my heart because no one else was awake yet to tell him to come tell me. Church was fantastic where the women got to spend the 3rd hour enjoying a yummy chocolate fountain buffet and nice program. And then after church I was showered with cards and gifts from my kids and Hubby. I really felt special! It was hard to still not do all the duties of being a mother, but the kids and Paul really help make the day run smooth.
Later that day we went to Paul's parents' house to spend a few hours with Paul's mom which was so nice because it was so nice to just sit around and visit. Then we headed to my parents' house and enjoyed a delicious barbeque dinner where all the women got steaks. Yum! I love my family and I love being a mom. It is truly what I always wanted when I was younger!
