Good Things Utah

There is this show here in Utah called "Good Things Utah" which is a local show kinds of like the "Today" show. I love watching it because all the gals on it our moms like me and they always have fun crafts, recipes, fashion, etc. Well last week the girl that does fashion every Thursday said she needed models for jeans so to email her and send her a picture. I thought my chances were pretty slim but I thought what the heck. Well I got an email Monday morning that they picked me so I had to meet with her the next day for a fitting. I was excited but so nervous so I took Paul with me! When we got to the fitting, Alicia asked Paul if he would model too. So we got to model together. It was so fun to do that with him and be on the show in the audience. The girls were super nice and who knows, maybe one day we can do it again! Here is a link to the show if you want to watch it!

A Fun Halloween!

What a fun day before Halloween we had. The kids were so excited to dress up for school. Joshua was a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, Tyler was a Ninja, and Ethan was a Zombie.

Joshua's Kindergarten parade was first in the morning and he was SO excited to see us there and was so proud to wear his costume around.

Look at that smile. I love it!!!

Tyler and Ethan's parade was in the afternoon and it was so neat to see all the kids costumes. The parade is short of course but the boys really liked having Paul and I there.

The next day was Halloween and we first stopped off at my Grandma White's house. She loves seeing all the grandkids in their costumes. And the kids love it too because she gives them candy.

Next we headed to my sister Amy's house so that she also could spoil the kids with candy.

Then off we went to Draper to Paul's sister's house (a family tradition. We have been going there since Ethan was 1 year old).

The weather was perfect this year! We were worried at first because it was a cold, wet week. But it was quite pleasant on Halloween!

Hannah LOVED trick or treating, well I think she just loved being able to walk.

This gorilla looked so real and Jaxon was really scared of it but Hannah just stared at it.

Jaxon was a crack up this year. He had so much energy and had fun going house to house with his cousin Kasch who is his age. There were many people who scared him and it was so funny to hear him say, "you scared on me."

It was a great night and the kids have SOOOOOOO much candy. But that is the joy of being a kid right?

Carving Pumpkins

So I know it is the first day of November but I wanted to post pictures of our last Halloween activities. We carved pumpkins at Paul's parents' house which has been a fun family tradition. The kids love getting to do that with their cousins.

Joshua probably was the only one who really got into this year. He was so excited to carve it with his mama!

My dad helped Ethan and it was fun watching them work together.

My mom also helped!

My sister-in-law and niece.

My other sister-in-law and niece.

My father-in-law and niece.

Then my mother-in-law read the kids' fortunes. They loved it!

We had such a great time hanging out together that night! I love holidays!

First Halloween activity with costumes!

Today I took Hannah and Jax to story time at the library and they got to wear their Halloween costumes. Hannah is a flower fairy and Jax is Buzz Lightyear. They were both so cute!

Jaxon absolutely loved his costume and wanted to wear it all day! He makes a good Buzz!

Hannah-growing way too fast!!!

Our little Hannah is now almost 13 and a half months old and I think she is growing up so fast! She definitely is not a little baby anymore!

She is quite tall for her age being in the 90% for height and is already wearing some 18 month clothes. Makes me kind of sad. She is saying more and more words every day. Here are what I can remember she says, "mama", "dada", "wook" (which is look as she points at something), "cheese" (when she sees a camera), "hi", "baby", bye, "doh-doh" (which means no-no as she points and shakes her finger, and "eye".

Just look at that cheesy grin! Who couldn't love that girl!

The Witches

There is this place here called Gardener Village and at Halloween time they decorate it with a lot of fun witches! My sister-in-law Krystal had a witch Scavenger Hunt for the kids to do. We had to go around the whole place looking for all kinds of witches.

The beginning of the hunt.

The big kids really got into the hunt. The little ones just wandered around. It was SO crowded because they have what is called "Witches Night Out" where people come dressed up as witches and they have music and stuff. We saw some AWESOME costumes!

It was hard to keep the little ones away from the water. And of course Jax fell in getting his shoes and pants wet.

This is Jax and his cousin Kasch who is only 5 months older than him. The are great buds.

Hannah and her grandma dancing to the Halloween music. Hannah LOVED the music and it was so fun to see her shake her thing to the beat!

We had a great time!!!

Cornbelly's

We started a family tradition a few years ago to go this really fun place called "Cornbelly's". So the boys have been asking all of October when were we going to go. So since the boys were on Fall Break, we got to go. We have had gorgeous weather so it was the perfect day!

Here the clan is before we went in.

Mommy and daughter.

My dad came along with us this year which was a treat.

I love the picture of them on the big chair.

Daddy and daughter

Watching the chickens sing

The kids always like the cow train!

All of us on the train.

The jumping the pillows. This is the one thing they wanted to do the whole time.

Teaching Ethan to Lasso.

And mining for jewels. The boys literally did this for like 30 minutes. They loved trying to find all kinds of gems.

We had a great time this year and I hope these memories will last a long time with them!

Fall is in the air!

Paul took the boys up the canyon to play at one of the parks. The boys had fun hiking around and climbing.

Paul took some fun pictures. He made this one look like the kids were high up a tree.

But really they were just on the ground playing on the trees.

Totally ALL girl!

Hannah didn't have a doll yet so her daddy brought her one home! She absolutely LOVED it! Every time she sees it she gets so excited and grabs it and hugs it. It really is the cutest thing. Yes we want her to be girlie, but it isn't like we force it upon her. But when she sees any kind of doll in a store she literally gets all giddy and points to it with big smiles! We were at Costco the other day and in the toy isles and she all of a sudden was all happy and pointing. I looked up and there was a baby set with doll, stroller, and play pin. It is so fun having a girl and seeing new things.

Birthday Party #3-Jaxon

Jaxon was our last September birthday and we had his party a week later than his birthday so his grandparents could come. Jaxon chose the "Cars" theme and it was such a hit! He invited some friends from the neighborhood and it was such a great party!

Here the kids are playing some games before the actual party games started. A few moms from the neighborhood helped out.

Of course what would a party be without a pinata? The kids all gave it a big smack!
\

Jaxon loved all his toys and seriously plays with them all day long.

Here he is in his "Super Why" costume. He loves it and wears it everyday. We love you Jax and we all had so much fun at your party!

Birthday Party #2-Hannah Banana

We celebrated Hannah's birthday with family a few days after Tyler's party. The party was originally going to be all outside, but once the sun went down it got pretty cold.

Here Paul is trying to keep little Hannah warm.

So were her brothers.

Her hands and lips were getting blue.

She got this stroller from my parents. She loves it and is getting the hang of how to use it.

She got so many fun gifts but she was starting to not feel well.

You can tell in this picture how yucky she felt.

It was cake time and she really wanted nothing to do with it. We tried putting her hands in it but she just wanted us to wash it off.

Happy Birthday Hannah girl! You are such a special little girl!

Birthday Party #1-Tyler

Tyler had a very fun 7th birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese's. He invited some friends and had a great time! It was the perfect day to have a party there because there was no crowd at all. The kids just played and played, asking for more tokens every few minutes and then we had pizza and did presents and then had a cake! Star Wars was his theme.

Hannah had a blast riding the rides but soon feel down on her face right after these pictures.

I can't believe he is 7! He had so much fun!

The presents were all hits and he got some fun stuff!

We just loved this had he got from one of his friends. SO cute!

Jax playing!

Friends!

I am glad that he had such a great time and that his friends were able to attend. Happy Birthday bud!

Happy Birthday Jaxon!

Our little Jax turned 3 today! He seriously has the funnest personality ever. He can be a stinker at times but really can say the cutest things. He really loves having older brothers and is always telling them hi and good bye and good night when it is bed time. Jaxon lights up our lives every day! Happy Birthday big guy!

Happy Birthday Hannah!

For the longest time I had always wanted a little girl to spoil. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my boys and wouldn't trade them for anything. But having a girl is so much different and having her at the end makes it even sweeter. I fell in love with Hannah the minute I saw her precious face! Each day gets funner and funner and it is so exciting to see her personality pop out!

A year has gone by so fast and I can't believe you are walking, starting to talk and just laugh all the time. You love your brothers so much and they just adore you! Your dad and I also love you and can't wait to watch you grow each year! Happy Birthday Hannah!

Celebrating birthdays!

Yes I turned 33 last Friday. I had fun celebrating all week long with Paul's family, friends, my family, and then just my husband and kids. Here are some pictures of the events.

Paul gave me this necklace and the kids were all so excited to give me their cards as well. I look horrible in these pictures because this was at the end of the day after being out at soccer games and running errands in the heat.

The balloon was probably the biggest hit!

This was at Paul's sister's house who has a birthday one week before mine. We also celebrated with Paul's mom who has a birthday that same week.

The cake was so yummy and we all had such a great time together!!!

Reunion day #2

Just wanted to post about our 2nd day or our family reunion that we had. We got together at my uncle and aunt's house is Salt Lake to celebrate my grandma's 85th birthday! It was so fun to get together to eat, talk and learn things about my grandma's life. We had a great time!

My first cucumber!

So I have never really lived anywhere I could plant a garden but my parents gave me a cucumber plant. So I thought I would give it a try. Ethan loves cucumbers so he was also excited to watch them grow. So far we have received 3 very delicious cucumbers and we are happy with that. Things taste so much better when you grow them yourselves!
